Abstract

Environmental pollution is of a great challenge the entire universe. This pollution could be generated from different sources and reach to different environmental compartments including soil, water, plants, air, animal, and human. Among different sources of pollution, nanopollution has become an emerging global issue. Nanopollution can be found as a result from the intensive using of nanomaterials and/or nanoparticles or during the processing of nanomaterials in soil, water, plant-soil system, air, and food chain. The most important fate and behavior of nanopollutants that in final reach to human and its health. Several health problems were reported after exposure the human to nanopollutants such as toxicity to kidney, brain, spleen, and heart. Soil nanopollution is considered a real threat for human health, which it needs to possible remediation of nan-pollutants in soils. Different approaches for remediation the nanopollution of soil can be discussed in this study. This mini-review focuses on soil nanopollution in the frame of Soil-Human Health-Nexus. A closed relationship between soil nanopollution and soil-human health nexus, which was confirmed by several published materials. The expected interaction between soil pollutants and nanopollutants is of great issue, which needs more and more studies. This interaction also depends on several factors including factors, which are related to pollutants, their concertation, the type of nanopollutants and their concentration, as well as the agro-environmental conditions.
